Product Testing
Laboratory testing is a key part of any compliance system.
Many product types are required by law to be tested and you are often required to keep test certificates for inspection by enforcement authorities. Your customers also may have requirements for you to submit test reports showing that your products comply.
Having been involved in the laboratory world for may years we are able to assist with this part of your system. Testing is often complicated and relies on the correct interpretations, methods, calibrations and opinions. If the test laboratory is comparing your product against legal requirements, have they chosen the most appropriate requirements?
We can liaise with test laboratories to ensure that they are acting in your best interests and have not been too strict or too lenient with the product. Neither of these is in your interests. You need to be able to rely on the correct interpretation of results and not just buy tests without the proper analysis.
We can carry out independent audits of laboratories to ensure that they are reliable and are testing your products appropriately. This is particularly important for laboratories which are not accredited to the ISO17025 standard for the particular tests you have carried out.
