Liaison with Test Laboratories
Many clients operate a regular regime of product testing and certification. Perhaps your customers request such testing or the law requires you to keep technical files for some of your products.
It is often test laboratories themselves who suggest the amount of testing which is required. They chose the tests to do and interpret standards and Regulations often without liaising with you.
Testing is often complicated and relies on the correct interpretations, methods, calibrations and opinions. If the test laboratory is comparing your product against legal requirements, have they chosen the most appropriate requirements?
We can liaise with test laboratories to ensure that they are acting in your best interests and have not been too strict or too lenient with the product. Neither of these is in your interests. You need to be able to rely on the correct interpretation of results and not just buy tests without the proper analysis.
We can carry out independent audits of laboratories to ensure that they are reliable and are testing your products appropriately. This is particularly important for laboratories which are not accredited to the ISO17025 standard for the particular tests you have carried out.
